Netatmo og Somfy udvider deres smarte samarbejde
Netatmo, a major player in the smart home sector and subsidiary of the Legrand Group, has taken a new step towards the future of the connected home. Netatmo's Weather products, now integrated into the Home + Control application, enrich a complete ecosystem dedicated to comfort and energy savings.
Products from Netatmo's Weather range, including the famous Weather Station, are now integrated into the Home + Control ecosystem. Coupled with Legrand with Netatmo connected products within the same application, this solution enables advanced automation for greater comfort and energy savings.
Home + Control, the central application of the Legrand Group's connected ecosystem, is now reinforced by new integrations of Netatmo Weather products. This application makes it easy to control all home equipment - lighting, shutters, heating, security, energy - and now the Weather Station. This ecosystem offers personalized scenarios and intelligent automation to enhance comfort and optimize energy consumption. This integration of the Weather Station and its accessories makes Home + Control an application at the heart of a high-performance ecosystem.
And that's not all! For the management of heating and cooling products (Smart Thermostat, Thermostatic Heads...), Netatmo and the Legrand Group also launched last March a complete overhaul of the Home + Control mobile application, creating a veritable hub dedicated to thermal comfort management. This new version of the app offers a more intuitive interface, facilitating access to the various functions for optimizing energy consumption, while enabling users to monitor and adjust their heating in real time, for greater comfort and guaranteed savings.
A survey of 3,300 users carried out by Bravas LLC at the end of 2024 shows a real enthusiasm for automation and interoperability functionalities. Nearly 60% of respondents want to add sensors and accessories, and almost 50% are particularly interested in automating connected products such as shutters, ventilation systems or smart windows.
Consumers increasingly want a home where all equipment can communicate seamlessly with each other. According to a study by Statista, 77% of users consider it essential for their connected devices to be able to communicate with each other via a single platform.
To further adapt to user needs, the Home + Control application enriches the user experience by introducing new functions and automations based on local Weather Station data. Thanks to the global visualization of the data provided by the Weather Station directly from the application's home screen, users can follow the conditions of their outdoor and indoor environment at a glance. A detailed room-by-room analysis also provides a better understanding of the indoor environment, highlighting variations in temperature, humidity or air quality.
Above all, this integration paves the way for powerful new automations: up to 7 triggers can now be configured based on data measured by the Weather Station and its accessories (temperature, humidity, CO2, etc.), to intelligently adapt heating, ventilation or blinds. For example, if excessive heat is expected, the shutters can be closed automatically to maintain a pleasant indoor temperature. Similarly, in winter, when the shutters are open, the house can be naturally heated by sunlight.
The result: optimized comfort, precise control of energy consumption in line with RE2020 environmental regulations, and a home that constantly adapts to your pace and environment.
