FAQ

Is my system compatible?

The Netatmo Smart Modulating Thermostat is designed to work with your OpenTherm modulating boiler and make the most of it. It controls the modulation of the boiler, and you will benefit from the remote control mode, the Auto-Adapt function, the schedule according to your habits and the fine-tuned regulation (PDI).

What’s the distance between the Smart Modulating Thermostat and the Relay?

The Modulating Thermostat will remain connected to its Relay up to 100 metres in an open space. Please note that obstacles such as walls or a change in floor may reduce this range.

How is the Smart Modulating Thermostat powered?

The Thermostat uses 3 AAA batteries (provided). They have a battery life of 2 years. The Relay is connected to the mains either via the boiler adapter or a conventional socket.

Can I manage a multi-zone installation?

Yes, if the system has several heating circuits (e.g., ground floor and 1st floor). Each zone must be regulated by either a Smart Thermostat, a Smart Modulating Thermostat or Smart Radiator Valves, depending on the installation type. This means you can set different temperatures for different zones for greater comfort and energy savings.

Can you create more than one heating schedule/programme?

Yes, you can create up to 10 heating schedules.
